Four stoneware bowls in a speckled honey glaze. Oven, dishwasher and everyday safe.
Stoneware you can put in the dishwasher. Linen that gets better after the third wash. Timber that shows its grain. Pieces for a house that actually gets lived in.

We would rather carry eight pieces we use ourselves than four hundred we have never touched.
Four stoneware bowls in a speckled honey glaze. Oven, dishwasher and everyday safe.
Two heavyweight linen towels, printed in soft eucalypt green. Softens with every wash.
Tasmanian blackwood, finished with food-safe oil. Every board reads its own grain.
Soy wax with lemon myrtle and sandalwood. Around fifty hours, poured in small batches.
Hand-woven rattan with a reinforced base. Holds firewood, throws or laundry without sagging.
Four 27cm plates in a reactive bone glaze, each one a little different out of the kiln.
Australian merino in a fine herringbone, 130 × 180cm. Heavy enough to actually keep you warm.
Solid brass on turned timber backs. They age to a warm patina rather than flaking.

We went looking for a set of everyday bowls that would survive a family and could not find one we liked at a price that made sense. So we found a small pottery, ordered too many, and gave the rest to friends.
That is still roughly how it works. We find something well made, we order it, and if we would not put it in our own kitchen it does not go on the site. The range stays small on purpose.
Everything ships from Sydney, usually the same day if you order before two.
Tracked with Australia Post. Same-day dispatch on weekday orders placed before 2pm.
Change your mind, send it back unused in its packaging and we will refund it.
Ceramics travel badly sometimes. Send a photo and we will send another, no return needed.
Stoneware — dishwasher and microwave safe. The reactive glaze deepens with use; that is the glaze doing its job, not a fault.
Linen — warm machine wash, line dry in shade. It will feel stiff for the first two washes and soft forever after.
Timber — hand wash, dry standing up. Re-oil every few months with any food-safe oil and it will outlast the kitchen.
Wool — air it rather than wash it. Cold hand wash only when it genuinely needs it.

We answer email within one business day, usually much faster.
